An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a formal report carried out to assess the safety of the existing electrical installation within a property and is used to describe its condition. It is sometimes called a Homebuyer's Test or a Landlord Safety Test. All rental properties require an EICR, based on the latest regulations of The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector.
